Having a local number can be important, especially if you're looking to attract local business.
Because your VOIP line supports multiple numbers, you can have additional numbers on one phone. One of these numbers could be a number with your local area code (ex. 01 for Dublin).
When you have a local number people can call your local number and your VoIP line will ring. If you want to present the local number as your caller-id, this can be done with caller-id control.
If the option you choose does not have a local number it can be added as an extra number.
